So I’m on the Publications Committee at my University and this Friday we’re hosting a Harry Potter themed “Yule Ball” complete with performances from our school’s ballroom dancing team, swing team, and acapella group (who will be singing songs from the movies).
We’re having a sorting house where we will question participants and put them into a house along with a look-a-like contest where the winner will win the “House Cup” that I’m making right now.
We’re creating mini Marauder’s maps based on the plans of the building we’re hosting the ball in — incidentally also called the Great Hall — and giving them to all of the attendees.
Oh.
And we’ll have Hogwarts themed food as well.
